Fanzines and Promotional Leaflets

Here are 2 examples of a fanzine and a promotional leaflet.

What's a fanzine? Look at GLASTOFANZINE. Notice the type setting is a lot more disorganzied- as though stuck on by glue. The quality of the graphics are not as highly finished as THE BIG CHILL leaflet.

Fanzine's are made by fans!!!

Look at THE BIG CHILL. The type setting- that's how all the words are arranged- compositionally is very straight with exact borders. The quality of the photography is of a high standard.

Now...in teams of two or three, produce your own fanzine OR leaflet about your virtual festival.

You decide who will be:

  1. the editor; in charge of what is written, fonts, type setting, etc

  2. the graphic designer; what images are used, how they used, where they will go

  3. the reporter; reviewing imaginary bands, writing articles about fashion, how about a problem page?

Use Serif Page Plus to come up with your fanzine or leaflet.

Good luck!!!
